Russian imports of Atlantic herring: Analyze all the key figures

After plummeting by more than 40% year-on-year in 2016 -- as a result of Russia's ban on food imports from western nations, followed by its ban on Iceland since August 2016 -- imports in Q1 2017 have actually started on a high note and well above 2015's, with the Faroe Islands more than trebling their volumes year-on-year. A breakdown of average monthly import prices, in USD, shows prices were lower than in 2016 so far this year, but above 2015's.
