Despite this volumes are down drastically, with imports for January to September down by more 75% from the same period last year. This is even though import prices (in USD) have been substantially lower than in 2014, with prices in September averaging less than $5/kg, down by approximately $2/kg from a year ago, as shown by a month-by-month breakdown of the average prices for both years.
